Rami has over 30 years of experience in project and business development, conducting research, and project financing. He uses his management expertise and decision making in projects and feasibility studies, along with statistical analysis and modelling, to collect and analyze data. He has successfully initiated and facilitated countless new business opportunities and strategic planning processes. Having created business development guidelines and financial planning models, he is primed to facilitate business and financial plans, and manage business and organizational changes.

Maaz Barakat is an Internationally Accredited Management Consultant & Trainer holding an MBA (with Director’s Honor), CPA (with Board Acknowledgement)  and Diploma IFRS qualifications. Maaz has over 30 years work and training experience in advising clients accomplish financial objectives by assessing financial situations, developing and presenting financial strategies and plans, and monitoring changes in financial status and life circumstances. He lectured at The American University in Dubai and has administered and conducted various workshops and seminars covering different aspects of business, finance, accounting, auditing and other related fields.

 

He was awarded by HH Sh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai for the launch of “Dubai, The City of Gold” branding and the “Dubai Gold Coin” and received the Excellence Award from PwC Academy for the year 2019.

Clairie has over 7 years of experience in investment analysis, in both the private and public sector, beginning her career in research at the National Investment Corporation, Abu Dhabi.  She has been in the UAE for over 30 years and completed her B.Comm Honours degree with a concentration in International Business and Economics, at Carleton University, Canada. She has been responsible for managing investment analyses for various high profile projects totaling over AED 5 billion in value. Her experience included conducting feasibility studies, analyzing data, preparing reports for top management executives, and supporting the investment management of the company’s stock portfolio. Her strong analytic skills coupled with her excellent interpersonal communication skills make her an asset to the GORE team.

Amr El-Kebbi is a professor of strategy and researcher at DeGroote School of Business (DSB). He is defending his PhD dissertation at DSB titled “Entrepreneurial Identity: Bridging Social Identity and Role Identity Theories,” and his current research projects include career identity of refugees in Canada, entrepreneurship education, and immigrant entrepreneurs, in addition to analyzing several Statistic Canada datasets. He is trained on both qualitative and quantitative methods, and he incorporates both in his research and analysis. He has more than 18 years of professional experience in four continents, five of which had been in leadership roles. He also founded, managed, and sold Arks Chem, a start-up specialized in manufacturing and distributing chemical raw materials for cosmetics and household industries.
